Private local tours and day trips

If your group are intrested in really fun day-trips out to learn and explore, we have linked up with a locally owned private tour operator that can collect, entertain & drop off guests from the front door.

WOW Scotland has received the much coveted 5 Star VisitScotland rating and offers exciting trips to see castles, battlegrounds and many other hidden gems of significant historical, architectural and environmental interest.

Our holiday properties are primarily self-catered properties, however, by prior arrangement, we can provide a special fully-catered local produce dinner for one night of your stay.

For guests requiring full catering options we can also provide recommendations for local chefs as well as outdoor or event catering services.

Stalking trips can be pre-arranged on Farr Estate. Our keepers will accompany you on your private outing, and will offer expert advice and tuition, guiding guests of any ability – from those never having handled a firearm before, to seasoned stalkers.

The stag season runs from 1 July to the 20 October. Stalking is available in September and October.
The hind season runs from the 21 October to the 15 February. Hind stalking is available from mid-November until the end of the season.

Treasure Trail

Families often find it fun following our Treasure Trail when exploring the grounds and woodland areas around Farr Loch.

We welcome responsible dog owners that follow the countryside code and recommend taking a camera with you as guests often spot wild deer, wildfowl, raptors and red squirrels.
